Happy CNY

Unfortunately for a lot of people, my throat infection has not killed me but you may rejoice in the fact that I have to swallow 2cm large flourescent yellow antibiotic pills and stuff some tube down my nose once a day to clear out my throat. Well I'm getting better after5 days. Tomorrow I hit school again and I probably have to take my re-exams the moment I touch down but obviously I haven't studied a thing I can remember because I've been bed-ridden for 4 days. Not to mention I've been a complete bitch to my boyfriend in my sick frustration that I can't get well but he still says good morning and good night everyday and says he loves me very much. I don't deserve this. Yeah I don't deserve a hell lot of things. Okay maybe I do deserve my $200 scholarship money I worked very hard last year!

So much to catch up on. I'm in Orientation 2 Committee, Games Head! Wheeeee...What a pleasant surprise though I've already missed 2 meetings thanks to bacteria and germs. And everyone liked my Feedback Week video! I love my Council! I love feedback comm! I love my boyfriend! I love my classmates (well just 2 of them Fina and Pat anyways since Steph pangsei-ed us to go Poly) Haha this is called juxtaposition I better buck up on my Lit too. Haha okay very funny gonna hit the books. Byeeeeee un-updated bloggie...to think I used to update you almost everyday...18 year olds don't have time for things like this x)

It's done. Grad Night 2007 is over and done with and, phew, it was such a great event thanks to the 30th Student Council! I was so stressed out on the day itself. I swear being the Night's I/C can bald me. Now we'll just prepare for Orientation 07!

IM ALIVE

Hello. Yes, I am still alive. Been busy with Council. Over the past month/weeks/days I was a delegate at TJC's Leadership Congress, a tour guide at Open House, and now 2nd I.C-ing Graduation Night and settling door gifts has cropped up.

Also having a HUGE identity crisis over whether to drop out of college or not.

My new camera has been my relief. Always liked film cameras better than digital cameras because you never know what you're gonna get. Hope to get some great shorts in Thailand, and if possible, save up for a Holga LC-A+. But right now I'm happy with my 2nd Hand Lomo Coloursplash and Vivitar Ultra Slim.

At Wits End

At Leadership Training Camp, they told us about how your friends won't understand how much time and effort you have to put into the Council. When you start disappearing for duties, for meetings, for, to them (accusingly), your other friends. Welfare. Secretary. 2nd I.C. Feedback Committee. Work. Work. Work. Type. Type. Type. My work in Council only means my failure as a friend. Because I can't go for ice cream. Because I can't go window shopping. I guess I'll just have to convince myself to believe that it is true -- It will come to the point where no one's going to understand you, why you wear the badge, why you wear your tie all the way up, why your socks are only blue, why you can't have breakfast in the morning because you have to raise the school flag. Except those who broke those eggs, build those straw towers, trekked from school to Sentosa, bathed with only half a bucket of water a day, and did those one thousand push ups with you in those special five days.
